Young people have the most to lose from climate change—so they deserve to understand it. But right now, there’s no requirement for education on climate change in Massachusetts schools. Mass Audubon is joining partners to support bills that would require Massachusetts schools to teach what climate change is, how it it could affect our communities, and how young people can take action to stop it.

You can help us support these bills by emailing your State Senator and Representative today. Young people are our best hope for fighting the climate crisis. It’s our responsibility to equip them with the knowledge they need to get started.

Dear [Decision Maker],

I'm writing to urge you to support two bills that would require and fund education on climate change in Massachusetts schools. Bill H.4419 is being discussed in the Committee on House Ways and Means, and Bill S.2668 is being discussed in the Committee on Senate Ways and Means. I encourage you to speak to the chairs of both committees about your support for these bills.

Sincerely,
