Duck Derby 2019

Allens Pond Duck Derby logo

Mark your calendars for the 16th Annual Duck Derby. The race takes place on Saturday, August 10, followed by a festival on August 11. This is our largest fundraiser of the year!

Last year's winners just returned from their amazing trip to Portugal. Who knows—this could be your year to win the grand prize of dinner for two anywhere in the world (including round-trip airfare and lodging for two nights)! Or you could win one of our other amazing prizes.

But you definitely can't win if you don't enter, so get your ducks in the race! Thank you for the support, and good luck.

Enjoy a farm-to-table breakfast at the Round the Bend Farm Learning Center. Afterwards, embark on a guided hike to view Bobolinks in the restored warm-season grassland at Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary.

Meet team members from Mass Audubon and Round The Bend Farm and learn how bird conservation practices benefit both organizations. Managers will explain how grassland bird and Monarch butterfly habitat is compatible with rotational grazing and late-season hay harvesting. Space is limited.
