Bird! Learn! Support Your Local Sanctuary! May 11th and 12th
What bird is this? If you know, you belong at Bird-A-Thon. If you don't know, you belong at Bird-A-Thon. All welcome to learn, find, and fundraise during Bird-A-Thon 2012!
Bird-A-Thon is a 24-hour birding event to introduce people to the pleasures of birding and to fundraise in support of our educational programs. Everyone is invited -- whatever your age or skill level! Bird-A-Thon at Wachusett MeadowJoin us for a morning guided walk and then return to the sanctuary for a delicious breakfast and a chance to share our findings. This year, Broad Meadow Brook is recruiting 10 families, couples, or individuals to commit to raising $500 for Bird-A-Thon. In return, you will receive birding instruction, support during Bird-A-Thon, and a birding trip to Plum Island. Wachusett Meadow Camera Club |
Are you a young person interested in photography? The Wachusett Meadow Camera Club is a youth group that shares a love of photography and a desire to learn more about it. Club members usually meet two Saturdays a month at Wachusett Meadow, hike with cameras, take photographs, and learn together. Greeting cards and bookmarks, featuring images from Camera Club members, are currently on sale in the Wachusett Meadow nature gift shop!
