December 2012
Three inspirational reasons to support connecting people and nature in the year ahead --
Broad Meadow Brook's Sensory Trail, designed for people with visual impairments but created for everyone, opened to smiling faces this fall.
Our nature play areas help children unplug, build their bodies and brains, and connect to nature. Here children build a shelter at Wachusett Meadow.
Students from Worcester East Middle School ride bikes on the rail trail through our partner program, Let's Go!, which promotes physical fitness and science literacy through hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities.
We're working hard to ensure that everyone can enjoy the nature of Massachusetts. We've added universally accessible trails, built nature play areas for children, partnered with local organizations, and welcomed people of all ages for classes and recreational programs throughout the year.
And, with your help, we will do more in 2013.
