Lynn's Bird-a-thon Appeal
Bird-a-thon is back and I’m hoping the bluebirds come back too! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and for the generous support you have given me each year. This past year many of us have found comfort in taking walks, appreciating the night sky and, recently, the spring influx of birds as they migrate northwards. It’s with gratitude and hope that we participate once again in Bird-a-thon, Mass Audubon's annual fundraiser. Sanctuaries across Massachusetts raise funds and, for 24 hours on May 14-15, compete to find the most bird species.
Bird-a-thon is an important source of funding for environmental research, conservation and quality educational programming for all ages. Contributions help protect the peace and beauty of our sanctuaries and support programs which benefit adults, children, families and wildlife. This past year has shown us how critical it is to protect wildlife and the environment. I’m participating in Bird-a-thon to raise money to support Mass Audubon’s efforts to engage us all in recognizing the importance of protecting nature for the benefit of people and wildlife. Please join me in this by making a donation.
