It's that time of year again! Massachusetts Audubon Society's Birdathon will take place on May 10-11, 2019. We go birding as many hours as we can stay awake from 6 pm Friday to 6pm Saturday. We try to figure out where to go to see as many species of bird as we can. We're hoping for spring migrants and year-round residents and our own favorite species. We do this year after year, and learn more each year.
Then we ask friends and family to make a donation to support the Massachusetts Audubon society's conservation, advocacy and education work. MAS believes in science and supports research, education, and opportunities for people of all ages to reconnect with the natural world. Mass Audubon protects valuable natural habitats and protests potential destruction. You've got an ally at Mass Audubon.
So I hope you will donate, by means of this fundraising page. And then ask me what birds we found this year.
