Thank you for visiting my Bird-a-thon 2018 fundraising page and supporting the Science and Bird Conservation Team! The centerpiece of Bird-a-thon is a 24-hour birding competition where teams representing different Mass Audubon sanctuaries and programs attempt to identify the most species of birds in a 24-hour period. Bird-a-thon serves as a reminder of the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our responsibility to preserve their habitats. This year's 24-hour event starts at 6p.m. on May 10th and ends 6p.m. on May 11th. This is my sixth year participating in Bird-a-thon and I am excited to help surpass last year's mark of 178 species!
I am raising money for Mass Audubon's Science and Bird Conservation Team to support my work in the Ecological Extension Service. Mass Audubon's Ecological Extension Service (EES) is a program through which Mass Audubon shares with conservation partners (land trusts, cities and towns, state and federal agencies) the considerable expertise we've developed in managing 35,000 acres.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
