Let's all help IRWS!
The centerpiece of Mass Audubon’s annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser is a 24-hour birding competition where teams representing different Mass Audubon sanctuaries and programs attempt to identify the most species of birds in a 24-hour period.
Much as I love the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us, I am NOT actually a birder. I will be in sitting in the comfort of my home while the wonderful volunteers and [other, more informed] staff at Mass Audubon's Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, where I work, head out in teams to spot the birds. However, I AM supporting this fabulous effort and the work done in general at Ipswich River by donating--being a "Bird Booster", they call it.
I hope you will join me and donate a gift of any size. The more Bird Boosters the better! Mass Audubon’s efforts to protect and steward the environment through conservation, education, and advocacy are more important now than ever.
Just push the Donate Now button on the right and follow the prompts. Thank you in advance to all my fine feathered friends and family!
