David Moon's Bird-a-thon Fundraising Page
I am very excited for this year's Bird-a-thon! People all over Massachusetts will head out on May 14 and 15 to identify as many species of birds as they can in a 24-hour period, and that we are also raising crucial funds for Mass Audubon's North Shore programs.
This year, Joppa Flats, Ipswich River, and Endicott are joining forces into one North Shore team. All funds we raise will go directly to support these sites and our other 13 beautiful sanctuaries, like Rough Meadows, Marblehead Neck, and Nahant Thicket.
The wonderful thing about Bird-a-thon is that so many small donations add up to something hugely significant. The amazing response we got last year buoyed us through this really tough time. Thanks to Bird-a-thon donations only two months into the pandemic, your Mass Audubon staff members were able to get up every morning and attend online meetings, figure out how to transform our programs to fit pandemic protocols, and keep delivering engagement to you, our beloved constituents.
You were there for us then, which meant everything, and it still does today. Now, going forward, every dollar you can donate will help us meet our vital mission of protecting nature as ongoing and new challenges face us. THANK YOU in advance for anything you can do to help.
