Personal Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my 2017 Mass Audubon Bird-a-thon Page.
Spring has arrived in fits and starts here in Massachusetts - including a late blizzard or two! But the first migrant songbirds have arrived from their tropical wintering grounds, and soon the flats will be covered with shorebirds, some of them coming from as far away as the coast of Patagonia, and I am looking forward to getting out with my Cape Ann Team on May 12th and 13th to see if we can add five species to our ten year total of 195 species and break 200!
Achieving my personal goal to raise $6000 for the work of the Bertrand Chair will help support important bird conservation projects that I am doing both here in Massachusetts and as far away as Mongolia, where conservation techniques honed through the decades by Mass Audubon are helping to protect habitat and wildlife in this largely wilderness nation.
If you can help support our work, please click on the Donate Now button at right to donate through my fast and secure web page.
Please Note: If you would rather not pay online and want to send a check: send it to my work address below and make it out to Mass Audubon.
Many thanks for your continuing support of bird conservation.
