JR's Fundraising Page

Hi, Friends!!
From May 14-15, bird lovers from all over Massachusetts will focus on nature by participating in Mass Audubon's annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser. This year, I am birding in memory of my mother-in-law, Dot Johnson, who began keeping records of her birdwatchinh in the 1920s and remained an avid birder for almost a century!
Teams representing different Mass Audubon sanctuaries and programs will come together to identify as many species of birds in a 24-hour period. Support my Metro West team as we compete in different birding categories against other regional teams, all while we are out enjoying the nature Mass Audubon works to protect.
Yes, I know I should be birding for my local sanctuary in Attleboro, but I have a soft spot for Drumlin Farm, which sponsored my first (formal) birding outing after I moved to Massachusetts. So Metro West it is.
Your donation will help Metro West sanctuaries with conservation management and make our nature programs available for people of all ages, interests, and backgrounds. You can support our team, or a specific team member, by making a donation through this secure fundraising website. Thank you for cheering us on!
I'm raising money for Bird-a-thon because I believe in the importance of protecting the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife. I support Mass Audubon's efforts to protect and steward the environment of Massachusetts through conservation, education, and advocacy.
Please join me in supporting this important work by making a donation through my personal fundraising page.
