Every May more than 750 people from all over Massachusetts focus on nature and participate in Mass Audubon’s annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser.

The centerpiece of Bird-a-thon is a 24-hour (May 10-11) birding competition where teams representing different Mass Audubon sanctuaries and programs attempt to identify the most species of birds in a 24-hour period. Bird-a-thon serves as a reminder of the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our responsibility to preserve their habitats.

Our team is participating in Bird-a-thon because we believe in the importance of protecting the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife. We support Mass Audubon’s efforts to protect and steward the environment of Massachusetts through conservation, education, and advocacy.

Please help us with this important work by making a donation through our team’s fundraising page. Your gift goes directly to Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, enabling us to inspire environmental stewardship and protect sanctuaries throughout the North Shore.
