Mass Audubon's Bird-a-thon 2020

Boston Nature Center

Boston Nature Center's Team Page

From May 15-16, we welcome and invite you to join the Boston Nature Center community through your participation in Bird-a-thon. All you need is a willingness to help us achieve our goal through birding and donating or fundraising. Birders of all abilities are always welcome. If you are not a birder, you could be our next donation or fundraising star!

Bird-a-thon is a 24-hour birding competition where teams representing different Mass Audubon sanctuaries and programs attempt to identify the most species of birds in a 24-hour period. Bird-a-thon serves as a reminder of the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our responsibility to preserve their habitats.

Our team is participating in Bird-a-thon because we believe in the importance of protecting the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife. Every dollar raised through the BNC Team will support the Scholarship Program for school vacation and summer camp.

Please join us in supporting this important work by making a donation through our team’s fundraising page.  Thank you!
