Museum of American Bird Art
Museum of American Bird Art's Team Page
From May 15-16, nature heroes from all over Massachusetts will focus on nature by participating in Mass Audubon’s annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser. Due to COVID-19, this will be the organization’s first Bird-at-home-a-thon, which will be carbon-free, safety-focused, and family-friendly! Teams representing different Mass Audubon sanctuaries and programs will come together to collectively identify as many species of birds in a 24-hour period and also complete other fun, nature-based activities from their home. Bird-a-thon serves as a reminder of the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our responsibility to preserve their habitats.
As the foremost museum devoted to American bird art, the Museum of American Bird Art (MABA) connects people and nature through exhibitions, education programs, summer camp and events at our 121-acre wildlife sanctuary. Right now our usual revenue sources--admission, programs and fundraising events--are not available. Now more than ever, MABA needs your support! Please join us in supporting the Museum’s important work by making a donation through our team’s fundraising page.
PS. With our exhibitions and sanctuary closed, we are providing creative, fun and informative materials for many audiences online. Stay connected to MABA through our blog, Taking Flight - https://blogs.massaudubon.org/takingflight/
