From 6pm May 14th to 6pm May 15th, nature enthusiasts throughout Massachusetts will participate in Bird-a-thon, Mass Audubon's annual fundraiser!

Central Wildlife Sanctuaries, representing Broad Meadow Brook and Wachusett Meadow, will once again be raising money to protect wildlife and habitat and to provide people of all ages and from all across the state with opportunities to connect with nature at our sanctuaries.  We believe that making these connections and protecting the nature of Massachusetts for people and for wildlife is now more important than ever.

In addition to fundraising, our team members will participate in family-friendly nature activities and take part in a statewide competition to find the greatest number of bird species during the  24 hours of Bird-a-thon.  We appreciate the friendly competition and the opportunity to be actively involved with so many supporters and members of our community.

We need your help!  We want to welcome back returning participants and invite others to join us either as birders, fundraisers, donors, or all three.  The links on this page are the first step to get involved.

Click "Join Team" to sign up to participate in the fun.

To donate through this secure fundraising website, click "Donate Now" to support the team, or click on a name from the Team Roster to help that participant reach her/his fundraising goal.

Thank you from everyone on the Central Sanctuaries Team.  We appreciate your support!
