Pollinators statewide are under threat from climate change, pesticide exposure, habitat degradation, and agricultural intensification. Help protect pollinators across Massachusetts by urging your state legislators to support proposals that put conservation first!

We are pushing for legislation establishing a commission to investigate methods and solutions to protect and promote pollinator health. This commission would include individuals with expertise in the protection of pollinators, wildlife protection, and expertise in native plants.

To [Decision Maker],

I'm concerned about our pollinators. Bees, butterflies, and bats are in trouble due to factors like habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change. These impacts also present a larger threat to biodiversity and food supply, since one in every three bites of food we eat depends on pollinators.

I hope you'll urge the House Committee on Ways and Means to favorably report out An Act to Protect Pollinator Habitat (H.4603), which would establish a commission to study statewide opportunities for improving pollinator health by increasing and enhancing native habitat.

Thank you for your support.
