Amy and Andy
Back to Plymouth County! We'll be fully vaccinated and visiting our old haunts for this year's Bird-a-thon. Friday night it's Plymouth Airport looking for the Upland Sandpipers in particular. If there's time, we'll make an evening run to Burrage Pond for Sandhill Cranes and Rails. Then off to Miles Standish for Whippoorwills and the elusive Saw-whet Owl (which may require an extra trip EARLY in the AM). Early Saturday we'll probably be at Burrage and then it's off to Manomet, our new favorite spot, and possibly Tidmarsh.
Fundraising is a big part of the competition, too. This year Audubon again needs financial help due to reduced educational and public programs which brought in substantial sums. Please join us in keeping Audubon strong by donating to the 2021 Bird-a-thon through our personal page.
