On May 13 through May 14, over 25 teams from all over Massachusetts will compete to identify the most species of birds in a 24 hour period. Bird-a-thon is a reminder of the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our responsibility to preserve their habitats. I am birding again with the team, Gordon's Gaggle, from Mass Audubon's Headquarters.

I have been participating in Bird-a-thon since 2006 because I believe in the importance of protecting the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife. I support Mass Audubon’s efforts to protect and steward the environment of Massachusetts through conservation, education, and advocacy.
