On May 13-14, I'll be participating in Mass Audubon’s annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser, our biggest fundraising event of the year.

I'm supporting the sanctuary at Arcadia where I spend many wonderful hours with people and nature.

This year is particularly special because Mass Audubon is embarking on an epic effort to (1) Protect 1/3 of the state from development before it's too late; 2) Provide inclusive and equitable access to nature for all, including residents of cities across the state;  and (3) Work with government, communities and individuals across the state to fight climate change and heal our planet.

Mass Audubon is investing an unprecedented amount of resources -- staff, expertise, funds, volunteers, etc. -- to achieve these ambitious goals.
