Kerri And Dan Fournier
From May 14-15, "birders" from all over Massachusetts will celebrate nature by participating in Mass Audubon's annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser!
During this event, Dan and I will bird from 5 pm on May 14th to 5 pm on May 15th. Our goal is to find as many species of birds as possible during this 24 hour time period and to raise money to support Mass Audubon. We will be birding for the Metrowest team which includes Drumlin Farm, Broadmoor, and Habitat sanctuaries.
This year is particularly special, because Mass Audubon is celebrating its 125th anniversary! The organization was founded in 1896 by two Boston women who used their voices to stop the slaughter of birds for fashion. Now, in 2021, Mass Audubon remains an independent organization at the forefront of conservation.
Dan and I have been participating in Bird-a-thon for almost 16 years. We continue to participate and to raise money for Mass Audubon because we believe that nature needs our care and support now more than ever.
Please consider supporting Mass Audubon's important work by making a donation through this page. Thank you!
