Support Darcy and Ryan in the 2021 Mass Audubon Bird-a-thon!

Darcy and Ryan will be raising money for the Metro West Team this year as part of the Massachusetts Audubon Society 2022 Bird-a-thon on May 13 and 14. Believe it or not, this is our 16th year raising money to support habitat preservation and wildlife education in Massachusetts!
Our new Metro West Team includes three Mass Audubon Sanctuaries: Drumlin Farm (Lincoln), Habitat (Belmont), and Broadmoor (Natick). Unfortunately, because of the pandemic our team will again be virtual so the two of us will be birding on our own for the second year in a row and our sighting totals will be combined with our teammates.
This year we will focus our efforts on South Central Massachusetts near Douglas, Uxbridge and Webster, but we may roam as far as the Quabbin Reservoir. We're excited to try to spot as many species as we can within a 24 hour period. We'll have our fingers crossed for spring migrants, vagrants and surprising fly-overs. We're excited to share with you you our findings!
We’ll do our best to spot as many species as we can! And we’ll be sure to keep you updated via Instagram and Facebook!
The funds we raise will support preservation of wildlife habitat in Massachusetts, land-use research, summer camp programs at Drumlin Farm (including scholarships), owl/songbird migratory research, citizen science projects, advocacy programs, and educational programs/materials for children and adults.
If you would prefer to donate by check or cash just let us know and we can arrange it.
Thank you for your support and tweet tweet!
