Many heart felt thanks to my friends and family who have supported me by donating to Bird-a-Thon 2022!

I do remain and enjoy being a Lame Duck for Mass Audubon.  Our team this year is Cape Cod Wildlife Sanctuary. I am most grateful for all I have learned from my patient  mentors! Bird-a-thon is a birding competition where teams representing all of Mass Audubon's sanctuaries compete to identify the most species of birds in the 24 hours on May 13-14th.  

This also also serves as a reminder to us of the great variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our responsibility to preserve their habitats. This competition is a fun way to fundraise for ALL of the wildlife that call Cape Cod and Massachusetts their home.

I very much enjoy volunteering for Audubon and believe in the importance of protecting our environment and wildlife.
