Dan & Lori Williams' Fundraising Page
For 24 hours from May 14-15, nature heroes from all over Massachusetts will celebrate nature by participating in Mass Audubon's annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser! Dan and Lori will be trying to find as many different bird species as they can in 24 hours.
During this event, teams representing different Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries or statewide programs recruit team members to participate in the fun while also raising funds to support Mass Audubon's work protecting the nature of Massachusetts. We'll be part of the team representing Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary in Easthampton.
This year is particularly special, because Mass Audubon is celebrating its 125th anniversary! The organization was founded in 1896 by two Boston women who used their voices to stop the slaughter of birds for fashion. Now, in 2021, Mass Audubon remains an independent organization at the forefront of conservation.
Why I'm Participating
We're raising money for Bird-a-thon because we believe that nature needs heroes now more than ever. We support Mass Audubon's efforts to profoundly engage the residents of Massachusetts in the importance of protecting nature for the benefit of people and wildlife..
Please support us and Mass Audubon's important work by making a donation through this page. Thank you!
