Please join me to support nature, wildlife & education for Boston kids
Throughout the pandemic, many of us have spent a LOT of time outdoors exploring and enjoying new parks and conservation land. Nature has been a solace in so many ways and we are recognizing how parks and conservation lands are vital to our mental and physical health. Conserving nature and wildlife habitat is important for so many reasons -- clean water, clean air, biodiversity, and buffering against climate change.
More than ever, it is critical to protect nature and wildlife, ensure access to it for everyone, and foster a love of nature in the next generation. This is why I support the Massachusetts Audubon Society. It does vital work to protect wildlife habitat, advocate for the environment, educate the next generation, and conserve land for all our enjoyment.
This year I am fundraising for Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center, which does incredible work to provide access to STEM, environmental education, nature adventures, and more for Boston Public School students. I'm really excited to support their work.
For a 24-hour period from May 14-15, 2021, I will join bird nerds across Massachusetts to raise money for Mass Audubon by participating in the annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser.
Please join me in supporting this important work by making a donation through my personal fundraising page. I know these are tough economic times for everyone – donations of any amount, no matter how small – will make a big difference.
All funds raised go toward scholarships for summer and vacation camp weeks, reaching nearly 1,000 Boston children each year.
Thank you for supporting this important work!
