From May 13 - 14, nature heroes from all over Massachusetts will celebrate nature by participating in Mass Audubon's annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser! 

During this event, teams representing different Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries or statewide programs recruit team members to participate in the fun while also raising funds to support Mass Audubon's work protecting the nature of Massachusetts.

Why I'm Participating 

Family and Friends! This is a critically important event in support of conservation, education, and advocacy at Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary in Princeton, where I work, and something I have participated in for many years. Our team will be competing to identify as many bird species as possible in 24 hours. Bird-a-thon serves as a reminder of the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our conservation responsibility.  Donations in any amount are very welcome and very much appreciated.
