Dragon's Bird-a-thon 2021
Thank you for visiting my Bird-a-thon fundraising page. From May 14-15 nature heroes from all over Massachusetts will focus on nature by participating in Mass Audubon’s annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser.
I will be birding with CJ the whole time! Friday evening at 6pm, we will start by birding areas around our house by foot. Then on Saturday we will start early in the morning and bird parts of the truck community greenway in Stoneham, Woburn and Winchester. After that we will drive to the coast to look for birds at beaches in Revere and Winthrop, and also Belle Isle Marsh until 6pm.
Teams representing different Mass Audubon sanctuaries and programs will come together to collectively identify as many species of birds in a 24-hour period and also complete other fun, nature-based activities from their home. Bird-a-thon serves as a reminder of the variety and abundance of wildlife that surrounds us and our responsibility to preserve their habitats.
I appreciate your support and hope you will make a donation of any amount!
Thank you and have a good day,
