On May 13-14, nature heroes from all over Massachusetts will celebrate nature by participating in Mass Audubon's annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser!
During this event, teams representing different Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries or statewide programs recruit team members to participate in the fun while also raising funds to support Mass Audubon's work protecting the nature of Massachusetts.
Why I'm Participating
I am raising money for Bird-a-thon because I believe that nature needs heroes now more than ever. I support Mass Audubon's efforts to profoundly engage the residents of Massachusetts in the importance of protecting nature for the benefit of wildlife AND people.
We are working to raise $36,000 in Western Mass to make possible the
protection of resilient landscapes, to increase access to nature and
environmental education, and to fight climate change in our
region. All money raised in Western Mass will stay in Western Mass!
