Fern & Feather Preschool Fundraising Page
Fern and Feather Preschool opened its barn doors to the first group of preschool students in the Fall of 2019 and our children had 6 short months at the school before the COVID-19 closure. For these pint-sized explorers, ecologists and engineers, their classroom extends beyond the walls of the barn to the 200 acres of Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. The class spends a significant portion of the day - rain or shine - along the trails, shores and gardens, engaged in a nature-based curriculum that promotes discovery and free play.
Our team is participating in Bird-a-thon because we believe in the importance of promoting a love of and appreciation for nature, while also working to preserve our environment. Your support of the Fern and Feather Preschool Bird-a-thon team will provide current and future students with opportunities to grow and become advocates for the natural beauty of Martha’s Vineyard.
Thank you in advance for your donation!
Love from all our Preschool Families.
From May 14-15, nature heroes from all over Massachusetts will celebrate nature by participating in Mass Audubon's annual
During this event, teams representing different Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries or statewide programs recruit team members to participate in the fun while also raising funds to support Mass Audubon's work protecting the nature of Massachusetts.
This year is particularly special, because Mass Audubon is celebrating its 125th anniversary! The organization was founded in 1896 by two Boston women who used their voices to stop the slaughter of birds for fashion. Now, in 2021, Mass Audubon remains an independent organization at the forefront of conservation.
Why I'm Participating
I am raising money for Bird-a-thon because I believe that nature needs heroes now more than ever. I support Mass Audubon's efforts to profoundly engage the residents of Massachusetts in the importance of protecting nature for the benefit of people and wildlife..
Please support me and Mass Audubon's important work by making a donation through this page. Thank you!
