What Can You See??
Hello from Fern & Feather Preschool!!
Spring is here, which means it is time for our Annual Bird-A-Thon Fundraiser! Over the course of April and May, we will be fundraising to support the Fern & Feather Preschool, Felix Neck, and Mass Audubon's work to protect and foster a deep connection to the natural world. We will be spreading the word far and wide, raising funds that will go directly to Felix Neck and our preschool community. This effort culminates in a 24 Hour Bird-A-Thon Birding Competition, May 13-14th. Nature heroes from all over Massachusetts will celebrate nature by participating in Mass Audubon's annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser!
During this event, teams representing different Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries or statewide programs recruit team members to participate in the fun while also raising funds to support Mass Audubon's work protecting the nature of Massachusetts.
Why I'm Participating
We are raising money for Bird-a-thon because we believe that nature needs heroes now more than ever and our young stewards have proven time and time again that this work is well worth it! We support Mass Audubon's efforts to profoundly engage the residents of Massachusetts in the importance of protecting nature for the benefit of people and wildlife. And here on Martha's Vineyard, we have a lot of important and special spaces worth fighting for :)
