This year I am participating in Mass Audubon's annual fundraiser, Bird-a-thon! As a Mass Audubon employee, I see first hand the thousands of ways my colleagues work every day to educate kids and adults about the environment, to spark connections to our natural world, to provide more inclusive and accessible outdoor experiences and to fight climate change. From May 13-14, nature heroes from all over Massachusetts will celebrate nature by participating in Mass Audubon's annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser!
During this event, teams representing different Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries or statewide programs recruit team members to participate in the fun while also raising funds to support Mass Audubon's work protecting the nature of Massachusetts.
Why I'm Participating
I am raising money for Bird-a-thon because I believe that nature needs heroes now more than ever. I support Mass Audubon's efforts to profoundly engage the residents of Massachusetts in the importance of protecting nature for the benefit of people and wildlife.
