Welcome to the South East Bird-a-thon Team!
  
We are a group of passionate individuals, some who are avid birders and others that are just starting out on our birding adventures. What we all have in common is our shared interest in protecting the nature of Massachusetts.
 
With spring migration finally upon us, we can't wait to get out there with our binoculars to celebrate 40 years of Bird-a-thon with YOU!
  
This year, the South East Team has set a goal to raise $20,000 to support our Environmental Education programs.  Did you know? Each summer, hundreds of kids have the experience of a lifetime at one of our Nature Camps!  With your help, you can make it possible for a child to come to North River or Oak Knoll this summer by defraying the costs for families that can’t afford it and by supporting the overall program.

JOIN THE TEAM
Bird-a-thon is open to everyone. Birders of all levels can help us spot species May 12-13. Click Join Team  to register today!

FUNDRAISE
Help us reach our goal of $20,000! People with ambitious fundraising goals and those that will ask just a few friends for $10, $25, or $50 all play a vital role.
  
JOIN THE SITTING DUCK GROUP
Drop in or stay all day. This group will be birding from the new All Persons Trail at the Stone Barn (Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary – Dartmouth) in a 25-foot diameter circle. This event is a great option for families or folks with limited availability or mobility.

PARTICIPATE IN NATURE ACTIVITIES
There are so many great ways to get outside and have fun while you bird, especially for families participating together.

$40: Provides enrichment supplies to our campers each session.

$400: Fills our pantry ensuring no camper goes without a snack or meal should they not be in a position to provide their own.
